小盔犀鸟属（学名：Anorrhinus），旧称凤头角犀鸟属，是犀鸟目犀鸟科下的一个属。[3]本属物种皆为生活于东南亚森林的犀鸟。[3]
分类历史
[编辑]本属为法国动物学家路德维希·赖兴巴赫于1849年建立。[1][4]其模式种后续在1855年由英国鸟类学家乔治·罗伯特·格雷指定为凤头犀鸟。[5][6]其属名Anorrhinus来自古希腊语的ano（指“在上面的”）及rhis（指“鼻子、鼻孔”）组合而成。[7]
在过去，本属物种曾作为两独立属（Anorrhinus、Ptilolaemus）存在；而在鸟类DNA分类系统等较旧的分类系统中，白喉犀鸟则被视为是锈颊犀鸟的亚种之一，自约1995年起的研究才建议分离两物种，而两属亦被合并为一。[8][9]但2013年的研究仍提议根据特征的显著不同应将凤头犀鸟作为一亚属处理。[9]
保育状况
[编辑]本属物种皆被列为《濒危野生动植物种国际贸易公约》附录二的物种，被限制出口及贸易。[10]
