禧年

关于与“禧年”标题相近或相同的条目，请见“禧年 (消歧义)”。禧年（英语：Jubilee）是纪念特定事件的周年纪念日，通常是表示25周年、40周年、50周年、60周年和70周年。“禧年”一词是源于圣经的犹太节日，现在经常用来表示君主统治的庆祝活动。在非裔美国人文化使用“禧年”，庆祝从奴隶制解放的庆祝活动。天主教会亦从1300年起，依循此犹太庆节开启了自己的禧年庆祝传统，最初为50年庆祝一次，1470年起改为25年庆祝一次至今，此外会依特别需求另定“特殊禧年”。[1]
