2010年美国职棒大联盟选秀，红人队在第一轮12顺位选进葛兰多。他在该年的8月16日与球队签下4年320万美元的合约。[1]2011年，他慢慢从1A升上了3A。[2]该年球季结束后，他参加了亚利桑那秋季联盟。

2011年12月17日，红人队用葛兰多、艾汀森·沃奎兹、Yonder Alonso和布莱德·巴克斯伯格向教士队交易麦特·拉托斯。[3]当时葛兰多在球队的定位是三号捕手。[4]

2013–2014年

2013年7月6日，葛兰多因为膝伤而在比赛中提前离场。后来经过检查后发现他的前十字韧带和左膝内侧副韧带都受伤，因此造成他的球季提前结束。[14]该年他仅出赛28场，打击率仅2成16，1轰9分打点。2014年对于葛兰多来说是个健康的一年，不过他的打击率依旧只有2成25。他的进攻能力不算太差，然而他的守备能力还是一个大问号。[15]
