炔诺孕酮（INN：norgestrel）是一种避孕药^[3]。若正确使用，每年会怀孕的女性约为 2%；但若只是一般使用，怀孕率可能约有 8%^[3] ^[4]。也可以作为更年期激素疗法^[5]。每日一次在相同时间口服^[3]。

常见的副作用包括月经不规律（英语：Irregular menstruation）、头痛、恶心和乳房疼痛^[4] ^[6]。并不能预防性传染病传播，包括艾滋病^[3]。孕期误用似乎不会伤害婴儿，母乳哺育期使用尚属安全^[4]。并用某些药物可能会降低其疗效，如：抗癫痫药物（英语：Anticonvulsant）^[4]。炔诺孕酮是一种不含雌激素的孕激素（英语：Progestogen (medication)）^[4]。它由等量具活性的左炔诺孕酮和无活性的D-炔诺孕酮组成^[7]。

炔诺孕酮于 1961 年获得专利，并于 1966 年开始用于医疗上^[8]。此产品已广泛上市^[9]。它将于 2024 年在美国上市^[10]。过去，在美国内含炔诺孕酮成分的药物，是与雌激素组成的复方药，属于避孕药的一种配方（英语：Birth control pill formulations），如：炔雌醇/炔诺孕酮^[11]。
