锯状窄齿虾（学名：Angustidontus seriatus）是窄齿虾属（学名：Angustidontus）唯一的物种，属于节肢动物门、软甲纲、窄齿虾目、窄齿虾科底下。[1]
命名
[编辑]窄齿虾属－Angustidontus，是由拉丁文的angusti（狭窄）和dens（牙齿），意思为狭窄的牙齿。放射齿目的伪窄齿虾属（Pseudoangustidontus）也是以此种命名（pseudo为伪造之意）。[2]

[编辑]1936年，查默·路易斯·库珀（Chalmer Lewis Cooper）发表了他从奥克拉荷马州、俄亥俄州和肯塔基州所挖掘到的化石。他当时将窄齿虾的前附肢化石误认为是辐鳍鱼软骨硬鳞鱼的牙齿化石，把其命名为锯状窄齿虾和纤细窄齿虾（Angustidontus gracilis）并建立新科和新属。[3]之后，许多学者也沿用查默·路易斯·库珀的看法。[4][5]1960年，[6]默里·约翰·科普兰（ Murray John Copeland）和托马斯·E·博尔顿（Thomas E. Bolton）命名在加拿大发现的魏氏窄齿虾（Angustidontus weihmannae）并将窄齿虾归类为广翅鲎目的一员；1978年，伊沃·赫鲁帕奇（Ivo Chlupáč）发表了新物种，命名为摩拉维亚窄齿虾（Angustidontus moravicus）。[7]
