莎拉·溫恩-威廉姆斯（英語：Sarah Wynn-Williams）是一位新西蘭律師、公共政策專家和作家。她曾任Facebook全球政策總監。其著作《無心之人：一個關於權力、貪婪和失去理想主義的警世故事》[註 1]（英語：Careless People: A Cautionary Tale of Power, Greed, and Lost Idealism）在遭到Meta（前Facebook）的反對之下於2025年出版。
早年生活
[編輯]溫恩-威廉姆斯畢業於坎特伯雷大學，獲得文學學士（B.A.）學位；後畢業於惠靈頓維多利亞大學，獲得法學碩士學位。[1]她十幾歲時還曾遭到鯊魚襲擊。[2][3]
職業生涯
[編輯]她曾在萬盛國際律師事務所（Mallesons Stephen Jacques，後合併至金杜律師事務所）執業。2002年至2007年，她擔任新西蘭政府的政策顧問。2007年至2011年，在新西蘭駐華盛頓特區大使館負責新西蘭的政治事務和政府關係辦公室。她還曾在樂施會（Oxfam International）工作。[1]
威廉姆斯於Facebook的工作自2011年開始，後來成為其全球公共政策主管。[4]Facebook於2017年以所謂「表現不佳和行為惡劣」之理由終止了威廉姆斯的僱傭關係。[5]威廉姆斯表示，她認為這是因為她舉報了其老闆性騷擾行為而招致的報復。[6]
Careless People
[編輯]她在2025年出版了一本關於她在Facebook職業生涯的書，《無心之人：一個關於權力、貪婪和失去理想主義的警世故事》（英語：Careless People: A Cautionary Tale of Power, Greed, and Lost Idealism）。Meta（前Facebook）威脅其將採取法律行動[7][8]，一位仲裁員禁止威廉姆斯宣傳這本書。[9]Meta正在試圖強制執行一項互不貶損協議。[10]Meta辯稱，該書內容「已經過時」，不反映當前實踐。[8]
這被認為是史翠珊效應的示例之一，Meta的法律行動帶來了更大的知名度，還提升了圖書銷量。[11][12][13]
在《衛報》對這本書的評論中，斯圖爾特·傑弗里斯表示，溫恩-威廉姆斯對她在Facebook的任職經歷敘述帶有着「邪教氛圍」，並強烈批評了internet.org和Facebook的公司領導層。[14]
美國國會聽證會
[編輯]2025年4月，溫恩-威廉姆斯在美國參議院國土安全和政府事務委員會作證時表示，Meta創辦人祖克柏親自設計及實施臉書審查工具，只要貼文瀏覽次數超過一萬次，就會自動提交所謂「總編輯」（英語：chief editor）審查，這項工具曾在香港和台灣啟用。中國共產黨官員曾測試這項工具，並給予「優化」建議。[15]
