布奇·埃梅謝塔（Buchi Emecheta，1944年7月21日—2017年1月25日）是一位奈及利亞作家[1]，他的作品涵蓋小說、戲劇、自傳和兒童讀物[2]。埃梅謝塔生於拉哥斯，後來在英國定居。 [3]埃梅謝塔成名後，成為多所大學的客座教授和講師。她曾到訪賓夕法尼亞州立大學、羅格斯大學、加州大學洛杉磯分校、伊利諾伊大學厄巴納-香檳分校[4] 並在耶魯大學和倫敦大學授課。[5]1986年，她成為倫敦大學研究員。 [6]
